Hannibal, Sherlock, and Luther are my favorite shows that aren't on your list (not counting anime). Would highly recommend all of them, and they're all relatively short so they wouldn't be too hard to catch up on.

I seem to be one of the few people who likes Korra quite a bit more than TLA. I've watched quite a bit of anime, so Avatar kinda felt like a solid shounen anime with some good choreography/animation, while Korra was a little more different.

Did you never watch any Star Trek?

Jessica Jones is probably my favorite live action show you listed. That or Lost. Sad it's taking three years for JJ S2.

The Moon Festival banner is mostly important for getting the Craft Essences. Getting the better one doubles your event items, and all the other ones increase the items you get too. Plus you need to get thousands of event items this time rather than just hundreds, so getting those CEs from the banner is kind of a big deal.

I always used Morgana since he was my favorite party member (other than Futaba). Also used Makoto (who is also great) and didn't really love the rest of the crew that much, so I played with Haru, whose gun abilities are surprisingly powerful.

The FPS problem is an interesting one. Traditional anime uses a lot of frame holding and skipping techniques to save money, so 3D anime that tries to copy the traditional style does the same thing to make it feel more 2D. Unfortunately, low frame rate 3D anime looks terrible, so instead of getting a blend of the two styles to make something better, we're served the worst of both worlds a lot of the time. Studios are starting to figure it out over time, but we still get total shit here and there (Berserk).

It's actually progressive on all characters. I believe you get 10 levels per grail until level 80, 5 levels until level 90, and 2 levels until level 100. I might have those numbers wrong though. 3* and 4* are generally considered the best ones to Grail I think. Good bang for your buck and you don't have to use a ton of grails getting them up to 80 or 90.

I always liked Skin of Evil. The randomness of the death made it feel more real in a lot of ways. Plus the villain's dialogue is totally fabulous. I've seen people complain about how cheesy it is, but I'm pretty sure the campiness of its lines is intentional.

P4's dungeons felt longer to me than the respective Tartarus segments. Maybe the superficial differences between them emphasized how fundamentally copied they were from each other as well.

Another perk of P5: less dumb sidequests. Hated going back to the dungeons in the previous two games to do them, but couldn't help myself due to my completionist nature...

Mementos was not so great, but it was really fast, so I didn't mind it that much. Never spent more than an hour there, and when I did spend an hour it was to clean up a ton of Mementos quests and go through a whole lot of floors.
